Breaking News: ZIM FIT Approved By GNC's Nationwide
Hey ZIM FIT family, we’ve got big news. We’re proud to announce that all of our supplement products have just been approved for sale at GNC. What does that mean? It means our two flagship pre-workouts, GET FKD (high-stim) and GET PMPD (low-stim), will soon be found in more locally-owned GNC stores across the U.S. That’s right: that means wherever you see that iconic GNC sign, you could be able to grab your ZIM FIT pre-workout.
This is a major milestone for us, and for you. Here’s why:
-
Wider access, same quality. You no longer have to order online or wait on shipping — just walk into your locally-owned GNC, stroll up to the sports nutrition shelf, and get your hands on ZIM FIT pre-workout.
-
Built-in credibility. Getting shelf space at GNC isn’t easy — it means our formulas passed GNC’s evaluation and met their standards. This is validation that ZIM FIT stands toe-to-toe with the biggest names in this industry.
-
Local convenience. Whether you’re in a big city or in smaller towns, GNC has presence — now you don’t have to hunt us down online or wait for restocks.
It is going to take some time to get our products into as many locally-owned GNCs as possible, but we couldn’t be more excited to expand our reach and bring ZIM FIT closer to your daily grind. This is a huge step forward for the brand, and we couldn't be more excited to introduce our product to a new audience.

Why GNC Matters (A Quick Flashback)
To appreciate how big this moment is, it helps to understand GNC’s legacy. Here’s a quick ride through their history:
Origins: From a small shop to a nutrition giant
-
GNC started in 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The founder, David Shakarian, opened a small health-food store called Lackzoom, making just $35 on day one.
-
In 1936, a flood wiped out both of his first stores, but Shakarian bounced back — reopening them and continuing expansion.
-
Over time, his business evolved from health foods and vitamins into a chain of specialty nutrition stores. In the 1960s, he rebranded under the name General Nutrition Centers (GNC).
Expansion, challenges & reinvention
-
GNC expanded rapidly through franchising and company-owned stores, establishing itself as a go-to retailer for supplements, vitamins, sports nutrition, and health products.
-
Over the years, GNC went through several ownership changes: from public ownership to private equity, acquisitions, and spin-offs.
-
In 2020, GNC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, citing pressures from lockdowns, changing retail trends, and heavy lease obligations.
-
Later that same year, GNC was acquired by Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, a Chinese company.
Why GNC still matters
Even through adversity, GNC has retained strong brand recognition, respected shelf space in thousands of stores, and remains a major name in the supplement space. It’s a gateway for brands to reach mass retail audiences that many supplement companies only dream of.
So when we say we could now be in GNC, we’re talking about joining the ranks of the big players — and making our name visible to a broader market.

Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning. With GNC now in our playbook, we’re already exploring:
-
New flavors and product extensions
-
Promotional partnerships with GNC locations
We’re just getting warmed up. ZIM FIT has always been about pushing limits, breaking barriers, and refusing to settle for average. Getting approved by GNC is proof that we’re stepping into new territory — without sacrificing the integrity you’ve come to expect from us.
From the day we launched, we promised no shortcuts. No fluff. Just honest, fire formulas and a community that shows up. Now, with GNC on board, more people will have the chance to take part.
Thank you to every loyal customer, every user who’s supported us, and everyone who believed we could make this leap. Keep bringing the energy. We’ll keep delivering.
Stay tuned — the next chapter is just getting started.
